Next Generation of Poets

Next Generation of Poets

The child-like voice voiced youth
And took the boring webster’s list
To eat the sour of this place
by a flip flipping of sugary sweet
Into ink wells and feather dreams
Followed by the purest proper unspoken vocabulary

The last written word regurgitates
The burping echo of nothing
Awakened sweetly to tasting the dream
Without a shape of a form of a picture
Just full of water teary pain
Dripping the hurt of ink

  1. I would bet a burping echo that you would appreciate David Abrams book “Spell of the Sensuous” . He delineates the shift from oral culture to written culture.

choking on inkwells into the mystery
